Paphos

Paphos with its population of approximately 92,000 people has a pleasant and relaxing harbour with a famous medieval fort and combines a cosmopolitan holiday resort with spectacular countryside and historical sites. The region offers the possibility of enjoying both coastal areas and mountainous landscapes, as well as capturing a taste of the island’s culture with its many world-famous archaeological sites. Paphos International Airport is located on the fringe of the city with an excellent road infrastructure to and from the city centre and tourist areas. There are four main municipalities in the Paphos region – Paphos Town, Geroskipou, Pegeia and Polis Chrysochous and each has its own collection of special attractions for you to discover.

Limassol

Renowned for its extensive cultural traditions, cosmopolitan and vivacious, year-round climate, Limassol is now home to a plethora of diverse facilities ranging from the newly-completed university of technology, world-class marina, theme and water parks, museums, theatres, international private schools, bowling centres and movie complexes, to the recently renovated historical town centre with its picturesque castle and quaint sidewalk cafes.

Nicosia

Nicosia is the capital city of Cyprus, and some would say its very heart and soul. Nicosia is an enticing city and is ideal for experiencing what modern Cyprus is all about. The ancient walls, traditional restaurants and an increasingly vibrant and young cafe and cultural scene effectively showcase the city’s basic make-up. Almost everything of interest lies within the historic walls, where a labyrinth of narrow streets reveals churches, mosques and evocative colonial-style buildings. The country’s best museum is also here, housing an extensive archaeological collection.  Located opposite the municipal gardens, the Cyprus Museum preserves more than 4000 years of history.

Polis

There is one region in particular which seems to be gathering a reputation as the latest place to offer everything under one sky. The Polis region, which encompasses the northwest region of Cyprus, about 30 minutes’ drive from the popular Pafos resort area and 45 minutes from Pafos International Airport, is one of those places which holds a quiet sort of attraction to all those who visit it.
