New Marina for Paphos set to boost Cyprus’ tourist product
Aristo Developers, a large shareholder of the joint venture Poseidon Grand Marina of Paphos, welcomed the decision announced by the Cyprus Commerce and Tourism Ministry on Tuesday 10th May 2016, which awarded the consortium the tender for the construction of the town’s marina.
“Today’s decision by the Marinas Management Committee is a step forward in the realisation of an infrastructure project important for the district of Paphos and for all of Cyprus,” President Nicos Anastasiades said.
The Poseidon Grand Marina Paphos will be the first integrated luxury marina in Cyprus. A highly conceived development, the marina will attract a new calibre of world-class tourists and investors who will reap the rewards of superior facilities, unparalleled by any other development in Cyprus.
Upon completion, the marina will provide berths for around 1,000 yachts, including residential and commercial developments, spanning over an impressive area of 42,000 square metres.
“The Poseidon Grand Marina of Paphos will be ranked amongst the best in the world and will upgrade Cyprus’ tourist product for years to come,” said Theodoros Aristodemou, Chairman and CEO of Aristo Developers Group of Companies.
“Throughout the years, Aristo Developers has proven itself as a pioneering force behind grand scale projects which have enhanced both Cyprus' and Paphos' quality development product, and have contributed immensely to the island and its community,” he added.
Aristo Developers’ on-going and evolving commitment to success is evident through the development of unique and awe-inspiring projects of international standards, such as the Venus Rock Golf Resort – the largest golf-integrated beachfront resort in the southern Mediterranean, and the renowned Kings Avenue Mall – the most contemporary shopping mall on the island of Cyprus.
