CYPRUS
INVESTMENT PROGRAMME
FOR CITIZENSHIP

1. Cyprus Citizenship may be obtained through a secure residential property investment of €2 million (+VAT) within which the investor maintains a residential property of minimum value of €500,000 (plus VAT) as main residence.
2. The investment can be a single property or portfolio of properties
3. A government donation of €200,000 is required (€100,000 for The Foundation for Research and Innovation and €100,000 for the Cyprus Organization for Land Development
4. When the investment portfolio includes any commercial or touristic properties, or financial securities, shares of a Cyprus company, then the total investment required becomes €2.5 million, provided the investor maintains a residential property to the value of €500,000 (+ VAT) as a main residence
5. The investment portfolio may be sold after a period of five (5) years, however, the investor must always maintain / purchase a property with a value of at least €500,000 (+VAT)
6. Clean criminal record is required
7. The applicant must have a valid Schengen Visa in order to quality for the Cyprus Citizenship

1. Application form M127 fully completed and signed before a Registrar of a Cypriot court or a consular officer
2. Birth Certificate
3. True Copy of Passport
4. Certificate of Clean Criminal Record from the Country of origin and the country of residence (if different). The certificate or certificates must be dated no later than the ninety days from the date of its submission.
5. Due Diligence Report issued through an internationally accepted database ensured through a subscription (e.g. World Check, LexisNexis Diligence, regulatory DataCorp Inc, etc.) The report must be dated no later than thirty dates from the date of its submission.
6. Declaration of the applicant concerning any citizenship applications he/she may have submitted in any other member-state or member-states of the European Union signed before a registrar of  a Cypriot court or a consular officer
7. Copy of valid Shengen Visa
8. Marriage Certificate/Civil Partnership Certificate
9. Copies of advertisements in a daily newspaper two consecutive posts
10. Two passport size photographs
11. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
12. Copy of Residence Permit in the republic of Cyprus
13. Application of a High Ranking Executive
    • Copy of the employment contract
    • Receipt from the department of inland revenue
14. Contract of Sale
15. Title Deeds or Proof of Registration of the Contract with the Land and Survey Department
16. Proof of payment of the agreed purchase price
17. Copy of the wire transfer to a Cypriot commercial banking institution in the name of the seller of the seller’s company
18. Investment Plan for the development of the purchased land, if the investment involved the purchase of land under development
19. Town Planning Permit

1. Permanent Residency Fee:

• €500 per application

2. Submission fee for Cyprus Citizenship:

• €2,000 per adult
• €2,000 per adult child
• €80 per minor child

3. Approval fee for Cyprus Citizenship:

• €5,000 per adult
• 5,000 per adult child

1. VAT may be reduced to 5% on the first property purchase (first 200 m²)
2. Standard VAT rate is 19%
